WATERPROOFING WORK SHOES AND HUNTING BOOTS
2 ½ oz.. neet's-foot oil (available at leather places, tackle shop and sporting goods
stores)
¾ oz.. mineral oil
½ oz.. paraffin
Caution: flammable mixture! Heat in a double boiler. Stir until wax is melted and entire mix is well blended. Let cool. Rub into boots with rag, paying special attention to area where boot top and sole meet.
